Introduction: In lab 4 we concentrated on different methods of adjusting resolution, linking Erdas to Google Earth, and delineating an Area of Interest.
Methods and Results:
The first part of Lab for was to create an Area of Interest(AOI) in a selected Study Area.

| Original Image with the AOI inserted after created a subset image. |
 |
| Here is the original image with an AOI using a shapefile of the Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties. AOI is the area in the dotted box. |
The next part of the lab we were to take a coarse resolution image and creat a higher spatial resolution image.
 |
| Image on left is a 15 meters panchromatic image, the image on the right is a 30 meter reflective image. |
The the two images above were to be merged creating a Pan Sharpened image.
Finished Product. Notice the higher resolution.
Next we were to do Haze reduction on an image.
Above is the original image. Notice haze in lower right hand corner.
New image with Haze Reduction. Look, no clouds.
Next we were to link an image with Google Earth.
Original image to be linked.
Here you see the original image linked with Google Earth.
Next we were to Resample images by changing Pixel sizes.
Again, original image.
Here is an image including the original as well as the to Resampled images.
Image on left is Nearest Neighbor, image in upper right is original, image in lower right is Bilinear Interpolation.
